If you're just meeting me for the first time, you might be a tad alarmed. If you've been reading this journal for years, perhaps not so much. At any rate, your heroine is a practicing librarian, amateur artist and sometime poet, who dabbles with scribbles, ink, decoupage goo, needlework, and paint with equal abandon. Endlessly curious about everything, she reads voraciously and spends a lot of time pursuing both knowledge and insight. Occasionally, she actually finds them in books. Visitors to this journal will tend to find heady vocabulary; bread and butter notes from cats; recipes; musings on life's vagaries; petty rants about annoying things; angrier rants about larger injustices; bad puns; links, and a great deal of poetry. She does tend to write a number of locked posts, and is just old-fashioned enough to believe that some things should remain private, even in this brave, new internetty world.
